Hide Your Personel Files

Put all your private files in a foder
Then just put a dot (.) infront of the folder name
If the folder name is secretfolder rename it into .secrtfolder
When you want to see your hidden folder Press ctrl+H

Wanna change your user name

Here is the command to change your user name in your ubuntu system First run the terminal Application->Accessories->Terminal In the terminal Type the command sudo usermod --login new_username old_username Now restart your system

wanna change the name of your home folder

Goto system->Adminstration->Users and Groups (user settings) Now unlock with your admininstrator pass word -> select your user account-> click on properties under the Advance tab change the name of your home folder now close it In the terminal type sudo nautilus navigate to your home directory now change its name, Restart the system N.B: Never rename the home folder before changing it in the user settings, because you cant access it after renaming the home folder but after restart eveything will be OK
