Hide Your Personel Files

Put all your private files in a foder
Then just put a dot (.) infront of the folder name
If the folder name is secretfolder rename it into .secrtfolder
When you want to see your hidden folder Press ctrl+H

Wanna change your user name

Here is the command to change your user name in your ubuntu system First run the terminal Application->Accessories->Terminal In the terminal Type the command sudo usermod --login new_username old_username Now restart your system

Software Installation Problem

Ever encountered this problem when you try to install a new software using synaptic or apt-get getting an error message like this E: Could not get lock /var/cache/apt/archives/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable) E: Unable to lock the download directory Soln: Issue this command on terminal sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock then try again
